MEMBERSHIP
Membership is the driving force behind the organization. IAS offers a variety of membership levels.
Membership Statement:
Membership is open to all interested persons who pay appropriate dues specified by the Board of Directors and who agree to abide by the IAS bylaws and the Society's Code of Ethics. Membership shall not be denied because of sex, race, creed, color or disability.

Your membership fees help the IAS to pursue its important activities and objectives. As a member, you will:

Have a means of keeping informed about Idaho Archaeology through meetings, publications, etc.;

Receive access to the Idaho Archaeologist, a digital journal containing professional reports and other archaeological articles, photographs, and information;

Receive information on statewide meetings, seminars, films, field trips, and other events;

Receive the Artifacts e-newsletter, detailing IAS events and other information on Idaho archaeology; and

Help professional archaeologists with public outreach programs by participating in volunteer opportunities

Thank you for donating to our organization. You are helping to provide the membership with quality programming, and giving members and volunteers the chance to learn, gain confidence and obtain first-hand experience in archaeological projects.
The IAS is an Idaho nonprofit corporation. It has tax exemption under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Its tax identification number is 82-0296691. Contributions are deductible to the extent allowed by current tax rules.
